Most memorable moment for the bride and groom: The first dance was amazing. To have everyone we love surrounding us as we danced, and to have Kalai at our wedding singing to us! It was such an amazing moment. When we were dating, we listened to Kalai’s music a lot. We had both been to one of his concerts before we met. One day, while playing cards and listening to Kalai’s music, a friend suggested we have Kalia perform at our wedding. We loved the idea. We had mutual friends with Kalai, and through them we were able make it happen.
Vendors:
Rings: My ring came from JK Jewelers in St George. They had a ring that Aaron knew would be perfect for me and he bought it right on the spot. Aaron’s ring came from McArthur Jewlers in St George. He picked out (3) rings that he liked and I surprised him with one of them.
Photography: Nick Adams Photography
As far as photography goes, we couldn’t have made a better choice. Nick and Signe know how to capture a moment and turn it into a lifelong memory. They were careful to take into account our style and personality, then add their talent and magical eye. Our pictures turned out amazing and we are thrilled! Nick and Signe are fantastic artists.
Videography: My uncle Jim was our videographer. He has a production company in Salt Lake City called Lenzworks.
Bridal Gown: Bridal Elegance
I had a full-length wedding dress reworked, making the front t-length and leaving the back with a short train. The alterations gave my dress a fresh, airy feel – just perfect for an outdoor reception. I also found my shoes there. They dyed them the perfect shade of blue!
Alterations: Morrillia Diaz
Bridesmaid dresses: from Nordstroms. I picked the dresses for their simple, elegant shape and color that I knew would look great on my bridesmaids.
Tuxedo Rental: Adrian’s
Hair and Make-up: My cousin (who is also one of my best friends and a bridesmaid) Julie Thomas. She also made all of the flowers we wore in our hair. She is so talented!
Flowers: Bloomers
Kathy was a doll to work with, so kind to us. The entire team at Bloomers did an amazing job. My flowers were perfect.
Wedding Planner and Decoration: Forevermore Events
They did such an great job. They had a crew working late into the night to pull everything together and in the end it was even more beautiful than I had imagined it would be.
(note from Signe: Forevermore Events did an amazing job creating an event that was a perfect reflection of the simple elegance that comes so effortlessly to Krissy.)
Entertainment: A performance by Kalai and a DJ
Catering: Marvellous Catering
Robin created the most delicious menu for us!
Cake: Iced
I loved that we were able to taste our cake before the wedding. Me and Aaron and his little boy Rider each chose our favorite flavor. Chocolate for the bottom, carrot for the center and strawberry for the top because red is Riders favorite color.
Officiant: Elder Talama Tesimale, St George LDS Temple
